Mission Statement

AseraCare Hospice serves to focus our available resources to meet the emotional, spiritual and physical needs of our patients and families with a sense of compassion and dignity. We preserve the dignity of death for our patients and families by making pain management, comfort and quality of life our primary goals. AseraCare Hospice believes that through compassionate support and the promotion of a caring environment, patients and families may be able to attain a degree of mental and spiritual preparation for death that is satisfactory to them.

Volunteers provide both direct and indirect services. We encourage use of time and talent to enhance patient, family and volunteers' lives. Training and orientation is offered to all incoming volunteers at various levels.
