You are invited to join Bozeman Health Deaconess Hospital’s dynamic volunteer program. Opportunities are available day and evening, seven days a week. Volunteers are asked to make a minimum of a 2-4 hour commitment each week. Benefits include a meal allowance for each shift, pharmacy discounts and participation in hospital and Volunteer Services events.
Emergency Department: The mission of the ER Volunteer is to provide comfort and non-medical services for patients and their visitors in Emergency Services.
Escort: The primary job of the Escort is the transportation of patients, paperwork and equipment between departments within the hospital, and also delivery of mail and flowers to patient rooms. Escorts also assist visitors in wayfinding.
Gift Shop/Care Boutique: Gift Shop volunteers assist customers as they shop for gifts, flowers, candy and other merchandise at the Gift Shop and Care Boutique.
Information Desk: Make a lasting impression for those who enter Bozeman Health Deaconess Hospital by greeting guests, giving directions and delivering flowers.
Perioperative Services: Give support to families waiting for patients in surgery and serve as a liaison between families, surgical staff and physicians.
Cancer Center Guest Relations: Make a difference by providing comfort to cancer patients undergoing treatments and to family members and guests while they wait. Or be a driver and take patients to and from their treatment appointments.
Special Projects: Help with special projects, various activities and events as the need arises. Many of our departments here at Bozeman Health Deaconess Hospital such as, Maternal-Newborn, Education, and Marketing need assistance completing clerical duties. Such duties would consist of filing, stuffing informational packets, forming educational binders etc.
