ABQ-GED's Preparation Program is currently looking for volunteer tutors to help in all Adult Basic Education, Pre-General Equivalency Degree and GED Prep subjects. Volunteers will assist our full and part-time staff with daily classes for mixed and/or leveled programs (Literacy, Adult Basic Education, and GED). Duties will include:
Assisting teacher with classroom instruction
Morning, afternoon & evening times are available. If you are interested in the education field, this opportunity would be a great experience to practice your teaching skills, and will even look great on your resume. We would love to hear from you! Prior experience working with at-risk youth and/or underrepresented minority adults a plus!
