Repeated research proves that youth with dedicated mentors are much less likely to get involved with drugs, gangs or drop out of school; and are much more likely to be confident, happy and more engaged and successful in school and life.

As a mentor, you will facilitate these positive outcomes not through special skills or knowledge; but simply by caring. Your caring attention will expand a child's world and potentially change his or her life.

At Mentoring for Academic Success (MAS), our students (grades 3-8) routinely flourish from the attention they receive from caring adults. A a mentor, you in turn will experience the heartwarming satisfaction of helping a young person realize his/her potential and dreams.
