VITAS Healthcare is currently looking for Life Story Guide volunteers to interview patients and family members using a workbook manual provided by the VITAS team. The workbook manual serves as a template for the volunteer to create a detailed life story of the patient online with the Life Bio program. The finished product booklet is a keepsake for family members to treasure for a lifetime. Training and supervision is provided to Life Story Guide volunteers and anytime dedicated is greatly appreciated.

Description

Volunteers are the heart of VITAS Healthcare, providing friendly, non- medical support to hospice patients and their family or offering support services in the office. We are seeking caring and compassionate individuals to volunteers for our patients in their homes or in nursing facilities in the community.
