Seeking volunteers for the 2023/2024 school year.
Job Description: Homework Help Mentors help students grades K-8 complete their homework while building positive relationships with them in a small group setting at Gladden Community House. This program allows students to experience positive reinforcement for academic success from a caring adult. We are currently seeking volunteers who would be available to come once a week or perhaps twice per month from 3:30p.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
Benefits: This position provides the opportunity to build one on one relationships with children who appreciate having a caring adult in their life. Make a big difference in an area that is in need.

Gladden Community House is a non-profit settlement house serving the Columbus urban communities of Franklinton and Southwest Columbus. We are a neighborhood-based agency that provides education and recreational programs, emergency assistance, advocacy and support in order to make a difference in the everyday lives of individuals, families, and groups.
