Help support our mission to end poverty housing by volunteering at one of our Habitat ReStore locations, downtown Wilmington, Monkey Junction or Ogden!
We are seeking committed volunteers to serve as Warehouse Assistants, Donation Ambassadors, and Showroom Organizers! You would help unload donations, polish them up, price them, and/or organize them on the sales floor. Donations include housewares (furniture, building materials, books, dishware, etc.).
One-time or recurring shifts are available - we can be flexible!
The ReStore is a second chance. The ReStore allows Cape Fear Habitat to provide household items at below market cost while protecting the environment by recycling items in good condition that might otherwise end up in the landfill.

We are a Christian housing ministry serving the Cape Fear Area, working with God and our community to empower families through homeownership.

Through community partnerships and passionate volunteers, Habitat constructs quality homes at a significantly lower cost than government or for-profit organizations. This allows us to provide no-interest, 30-year mortgages to qualified families. To help our families succeed, we offer credit counseling, mentoring, and education programs.
We have constructed and rehabilitated more than 145 homes for families in need throughout New Hanover, Pender and northeastern Brunswick Counties. When complete, our first subdivision, The Cottages at Cornerstone in Wilmington, NC, is now home to 32 loving families.
Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity is one of 76 Habitat affiliates in North Carolina and is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization.
