The Raft Crisis Hotline is a free program of New River Valley Community Services. We provide empathy and emotional support, mental health and substance abuse information and referrals, and crisis and suicide intervention for callers of the New River Valley. The Hotline is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We are always recruiting new volunteers and are especially in need of volunteers who live in the area year-round when many of our student volunteers leave for breaks.
