Volunteer at our friendly used book store at the Cardiff by the Sea Library. Volunteers work three hour shifts pricing, shelving, and selling used books to supprt the Cardiff by the Sea Library.

Mission Statement
The purpose of the Friends of the Cardiff-by-the-Sea Library is to aid and support the Cardiff-by-the-Sea branch of the San Diego County Library; to maintain a membership of persons interested in the library and the community; to focus public attention on library services, facilities and needs; to help the library be responsive to the needs of the community; and to expand the resources of the library.
Description
The Book Nook, where gently used books are sold, is operated by the Friends of the Cardiff by the Sea library as a very special part of our library. Immediately on your right as you come up the steps of the front entrance, it welcomes you to come inside, browse and buy. The funds raised go to support the library and the communities of Cardiff by the Sea and Encinitas.
