Many students from St. Louis Park and the entire West Metro area will be participating in the DECA competition and judges from the business community are needed. No experience is necessary; all judging criteria are very clear, easy to follow and explained at the event during the judge's orientation. Judges work in teams. Please come dressed in Professional Business attire. Here are the details: West Metro Area DECA COMPETITION for High School Business Students LOCATION: Wayzata High School, 4955 Peony Ln N, Plymouth, MN 55446. SUNDAY, JANUARY 28, 2018, 8:00am-12:30pm and 12:45-4:30 p.m. Light refreshments provided. Following a brief large group orientation judges will team up for events. Most events are role-plays with students based on customer service, incentive programs, developing business plans, making sound business decisions and/or employment interviews. The students try to come prepared; they work hard to impress the judges and be professional.
