Seeking volunteer to assist with answering phones, greeting clients, light office work, directing clients, answering general inquiries, other office duties as assigned.
Hours are between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Days and hours per a shift are flexible.
Must be comfortable navigating language barriers!

Description
The Nashville International Center for Empowerment, formerly the Sudanese Community and Women's Services Center, offers refugees and immigrants who have resettled in Middle Tenessee direct social services designed to ease their transition into their new lives in America. NICE offers classes in English, citizenship, GED, computer, and job training, as well as youth and immigration services. These programs are designed to empower these new Americans to provide for themselves and their families and to become productive members of American society.
