Students Graduating from One Week of MS Office Training

The WTA is a Washington DC non-profit that provides technology training, employment training, and work-based learning programs for the homeless and disadvantaged. The WTA is sponsors monthly technology training classes for low-income Washington DC residents that incudes 3 hours of training and a free computer that was refurbished by a homeless person. We can accept up to 20 people in the classes, which costs $50, and that includes a free Core2Duo computer system with MS Windows and more -- worth far more than the cost of the class.

The WTA is in need of event coordintors to:

1. Promote these classes in local churches, schools and community organizations,

2 help coordinate with city-wide agencies that serve the homeless and/or bridge the digital divide, including the Interagency Council on Homelessnes (ICH), mayors office, VA and more,

3. get qualified community members to sign up, ensuring that the logistics of the monthly class are in place, including trainers, equipment and more.
