Work-Study Program

Flamenco Vivo’s Work-Study program provides students with the opportunity to work in exchange for free studio rentals and Flamenco Vivo classes. Duties include cleaning and maintaining the studios for a minimum of two hours per week. Each hour worked constitutes one hours of free studio time or a free class. Cleaning or maintenance duties require late and early hours of work.

Requirements

Applicants must reside in NYC and commit to a minimum of 3 months
Proficiency in English (Spanish a plus)
Prior experience in customer service a plus
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask with detailed accuracy in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in a Mac and PC environment with Microsoft Word and Excel a plus

Description

Spanish dance company that strives to bring flamenco dance and Spanish culture to a broader audience. It does this through classes, performances, work-shops, and the Arts in Education program where flamenco is taught in area schools.
