Money Power Day!!!

Money Power Day(r), is the region’s Biggest FREE financial fitness fair for the whole family! It is held on Saturday, April 7, 2018 from 9am - 3pm at Poly-Western High School, 1400 W. Cold Spring Lane, Baltimore MD 21209. Free parking and access to public transportation is available. Money Power Day(r) is a free event dedicated to helping people boost their financial well-being. It’s an energy-packed day filled with exciting activities designed to inspire and inform people of all ages and income levels. Volunteering with Money Power Day makes it possible for hundreds of people in our community find tools, resources, and support to take powerful financial steps in reaching their financial dreams. All volunteers are welcome from high school, college, beyond school and any career.

**Service learning hours will be provided to high school students who participate and ALL VOLUNTEERS will receive a T-shirt and lunch. For more information visit moneypowerday.org

Mission Statement

The CASH Campaign promotes programs, products, and policies that increase the financial security of low to moderate-income individuals and families across the state.

Description

To accomplish its mission, CASH Campaign:

1. Leads a network of direct service providers that offer free tax preparation, financial education and coaching, benefits screening, and access to appropriate financial services;

2. Builds program capacity of local asset-building coalitions, partners, and practitioners;

3. Coordinates and expands access to free, fact-based financial education;

4. Leads research on program practices and innovative state policies;

5. Gathers and disseminates information on effective program practices and policies; and

6. Advocates for policies that promote financial security.
