Bridges: Domestic & Sexual Violence Support is committed to eliminating domestic and sexual violence, and to providing a safe and empowering environment for the victims and survivors.

We hold quarterly volunteer training sessions in our Nashua NH office.

Trained Bridges volunteers help our agency in may different ways.

Here are a few:

  • You can assist us in staffing our 24-hour support line. This task can be done from from the comfort of your own home.
  • You can help in our Nashua or Milford offices, assisting clients who need our support.
  • You can accompany survivors to the police station to make a report
  • You can accompany survivors to court for protective orders or for criminal proceedings.
  • You can co-facilitate support groups for survivors.
  • You can visit schools or businesses to help present educational sessions.

To eliminate domestic and sexual violence, and provide a safe and empowering environment for victims and survivors.


Provides support and advocacy to survivors of domestic and sexual violence through a 24-hour hotline, support groups, emergency shelter, and legal advocacy. Education programs to raise awareness of issues related to domestic/sexual violence.

  • Must be at least 18
  • We work with your schedule! The schedule is sent out each week and you choose the days you would like to volunteer. If you are unavailable one week, but availble the the next, that is fine.
  • Volunteer training must be completed before working with clients. The training can be completed, half on the computer and half in person. Volunteer trainings are offered three times a year. Please call Maureen for more info at 603.889.0858 x 212
