Golden Gate Park, Buffalo Paddock, San Francisco

Restore white-crowned sparrow and other coast scrub species habitat with San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department and Golden Gate Audubon.

Third Saturday of each month from 9am- noon meets near the Bison Paddock

Directions: Bison Paddock is in Golden Gate Park at the Chain of Lakes and JFK Drive (east).

Groups are welcome but please contact us in advance so that we have the correct number of gloves, tools, plants etc.

Founded in 1917, Golden Gate Audubon is one of the oldest wildlife conservation organizations on the West Coast. We have a long history of inspiring and connecting people in the Bay Area with local birds, wildlife and their habitats and today play a critical role in Bay Area wildlife conservation. Golden Gate Audubon has roughly 10,000 members and supporters in San Francisco, Alameda and Contra Costa counties.
