Community Healthcare of Texas is seeking a volunteer to join our office team! Our office volunteers provide valuable assistance with day-to-day tasks that help our staff better serve our patients and their families. We couldn't do it without our office volunteers!
Weekday shifts during regular business hours range from once a week to once a month; we're flexible! We have a comfortable west Fort Worth office environment with dedicated work space, all the coffee you could want, and easy parking.
An initial volunteer orientation is required of all Community Healthcare of Texas volunteers. Training and support programs are offered on a regular basis, to ensure that your service experience is meaningful and rewarding. There is no cost for training, and sessions are held throughout the year.
Some things that an Office Volunteer might do:
* Assemble admission packets, binders and materials for patients and their families.
* Write thank you notes to donors.
* Data entry and filing for volunteer and bereavement departments.
* Put together kid’s crafts and coloring booklets for pediatric team.
* Assist with special projects, and so much more!
If you are interested in learning more about becoming a member of our office team, please contact the Volunteer Coordinator at 817-870-2795 or visit our website at http://www.chot.org to complete an online Volunteer Inquiry form.
