This is a group of volunteers who do all of the guided tours at MBH. They have taken the docent training and have in-depth knowledge of the Hall and artifacts. To become a docent one must go through docent training at MBH and be certified.

Listed in the National Register of Historic Places and Michigan's most recent National Historic Landmark, Meadow Brook Hall - the 110-room, 88,000-square-foot Tudor Revival former home of Oakland University founders Matilda Dodge Wilson and Alfred Wilson - serves as a self-supporting historic house museum and cultural center, charged with: 1) preserving and interpreting invaluable architectural, historical, archival, fine and decorative arts resources for the education of international and national touring publics as the pre-eminent example of the country estate lifestyle of America's automotive aristocracy and 2) sharing the serene atmosphere and hospitality of the estate for the enrichment of the local and campus communities, friends and supporters.
