Volunteer chaplains will assist in making pastoral visits to patient in the hospital and residents in the nursing home. Training to prepare for making visits will occur as visits are occuring. These visits will have as a goal to befriend the patient/resident and to listen to them compassionately. Experiences had by the volunteer will be processed to see the affect the visit is having on them. The minimum age to volunteer at thi facility is 18.
