Help refugees and asylees to get jobs! This position involves working directly with job seeking refugees, doing job placement, and also teaching them how to find a job on their own. This volunteer position is not just sitting behind a desk--you will be out in the community and business world, and working with directly with refugees and employers. No two days are alike and you will work with people from all over the world!
Responsibilities:
- Assist refugees to complete job applications, both online and on paper
- Create resumes for refugee job seekers
- Coach refugees on job search strategies and American work culture. This could include teaching a group class as well as doing one-on-one coaching or mock interviews.

The LFSRM Refugee & Asylee Programs are dedicated to helping these vulnerable individuals and families rebuild their lives by equipping them to achieve self-sufficiency within their first year in the United States and fostering integration into their new communities.
