The Eastern Shore Medical Reserve Corps are a group of medical and non-medical professionals who assist first responders in the event of a public health emergency. Volunteers are trained through on-line courses and in person classroom studies. Completion of courses is required for acceptance of volunteer opportunities.

Mission Statement
The mission of the Eastern Shore MRC within the Eastern Shore Health District is to engage health care professionals in helping the two counties prepare for, respond to, and mitigate emergencies, disasters, and pressing public health needs.

Our objective is to provide a group of readily trained and available volunteer professionals who supplement and assist local medical emergency response systems.
