Many children entering the foster care system have never celebrated or received a present at Christmas time. We believe it is our job to let them know how special they are; to show them that they are loved. Dorothy's Light would like to help foster families licensed with A Place To Call Home by providing holiday gifts for the 200+ foster children in their care.
If you are an individual, family, business or community organization, you can help!
We are looking for any of the above to "sponsor" a child for Christmas by providing a Christmas gift that will be handed out by Santa at our annual Christmas Party. Contact us and we can provide you with a wish list for a specific child or special needs adult, or you can donate items and we will match them to the appropriate child.
Guidelines:
-Gifts must be unwrapped (unless you provide them in a gift bag)
-Donations need to be received by December 1, 2017
-Please bring to our office which is open M-F 8 am to 5 pm
Other arrangements can be made if needed

Dorothy's Light is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of foster children and adults with developmental disabilities throughout Arizona.
Description
Dorothy's Light is committed to supporting organizations that build awareness and offer solutions to address the emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual needs of foster children and adults with special needs. Dorothy's Light is currently working with A Place to Call Home, a foster care/adoption agency with programs in Mesa and Tucson. We are hoping that together, we can support the nearly 200 children and adults placed in their foster and developmental homes. In a secure and loving environment, it is our belief these adults and children will develop a new sense of responsibility and commitment to themselves and their futures.
