This is an urban community garden, greenhouse and grow lab that will provide gardens for flowers, food and include nutrition classes. We also need volunteers to help with the afterschool gardening programs. Our 4-H, Scouts, Youth Volunteer Council of Greater Baltimore and S.A.V.E. Club(Students Against Violence Everywhere) are working on gardening projects that interact with saving the environment, nutrition, emergency Preparedness, saving the butterflies and the University of Maryland Bay Wise Program. They are in the process of building a community demonstration garden and butterfly gardens throughout the neighborhood surrounding the school and recreation center. Our youth and adults also get lessons in entrepreneurial possibilities.
