St. Louis Catholic Church Social Ministries, is hosting their Annual "Feast of Giving" from 11:00am-3:00pm on November 26th. Due to the covid-19, There will be no "dine in" for the guests, we will use the drive-thru method, this Thanksgiving. We will also be handing out at least 100 boxes of canned foods to those who need them. Due to the nature of how we've shifted outside it's best that those 15 and up are able to help.

This years gathering will be a little different, however, it'll give members at St. Louis parish and community an opportunity to share a portion of God’s blessings and offer our brothers and sisters in need a traditional hot Thanksgiving meal.

If you would like to volunteer for this wonderful ministry, the Social Ministry team could use at least 2 - 2 1/2 hours of your time. Preparations and setting up are done on Wednesday evening from 6:00pm-8:00pm and 8:00 p.m. - until we're done. Only those who are 18+ only are to be in the kitchen on both days.

The cooking begins at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday morning and lasts until 3:00pm or until all the food is gone. Those who work in the kitchen and serving area will need to wear a hair net or baseball cap, and men if you have a beard you must wear a beard net. Gloves and aprons will be provided. Also, only 18+ only are able to serve and be in the kitchen. Causal clothing and comfortable shoes.

After 3:00 we still need help cleaning, washing dishes, throwing out the trash and taking boxes and containers back to the Social Ministries building.

Please DO NOT add or bring anymore volunteers than what's alloted. Sign up everyone, do not sign up one person then add extras to the comment section, it doesn't work that way.

If you want to stay longer you'll need to sign up for each individual slot.
