Foothills Caring Corps is dedicated to promoting independence and enhancing the quality of life for older residents and adults with disabilities throughout the Foothills community. This area includes: Cave Creek, Carefree, North Scottsdale and North Phoenix.

Opportunities for volunteering include: delivering Mobile Meals, driving persons to and/or from non-emergency medical appointments, providing: shopping assistance, caregiver relief, friendly visiting/phoning, minor home repair, technology assistance, and volunteering as a driver or assistants for our Recreational Van Program.

Our Vision is to improve our Neighbors' lives by addressing socialization, health, wellness, and mobility to promote physical, mental and emotional health and well-being.

We are dedicated to promoting independence and enhancing the quality of life for Neighbors: older adults and persons with disabling conditions who reside throughout the Foothills community (Carefree, Cave Creek, North Scottsdale and North Phoenix).

Description

Our goal is to help individuals remain living independently in their own homes for as long as possible. We do this through a force of volunteers who deliver services and support that address socialization, health, wellness, and mobility to promote physical, mental, and emotional health and well-being. Our services include: Mobile Meals, Non-emergency Medical Transportation, Friendly Visiting/Phoning, Caregiver Relief, Minor Home Repair, Recreational Van Program, Grocery Shopping and Technology Assistance.
