Assist a Disabled or Elder Adult

Do you enjoy visiting and helping disabled and/or elder adults? Do you want to make a difference in someone's life? If you said yes, then become a Volunteer Guardian!
You'll make health, welfare and/or financial decisions and advocate for adults who can no longer make decisions for themselves. Just a couple hours of your time each month will make a tremendous impact on the quality of life of an at-risk disabled or elder adult.
After thorough screening, training and matching by the program coordinator, you will be appointed the legal guardian by the court. On-going assistance is also provided to help you be successful.
You must be 21 or older. Volunteers are screened with criminal and caregiver background checks and must attend a 2-hour training before becoming a guardian.
NOTE: Volunteers have no financial obligation for the ward.
