Our rescue program is completely dependent on volunteers. Plain and simple we rescue senior dogs that have been given up and deemed "un-adoptable" due to the combination of age and health.
Our eventual goal is to have a wonderful, permanent sanctuary for them to live out their lives.
We also have a current rescue and adoption program, "A Home For Every Aging Heart" where we match them with people that will provide a permanent loving home for them to retire comfortably.

Mission Statement
To provide a loving and permanent home for senior dogs that are deemed "un-adoptable" because of age and health and would otherwise be unnecessarily euthanized.
Description
Our organization reaches into shelter and emergency facilities to offer rescue of senior dogs who will be left behind most adoption opportunities due to age, which may include age-related (normal) or serious health concerns.
Typically senior dogs are not favored in adoptions yet for many reasons, they represent dogs who are very likely to be splendid companions. Often, olders dogs are tragically separated from their owner/family of longstanding - they exhibit the loss but the missing place in their hearts is filled almost immediately by a new master.
Our founder has many years experience in dog care, handling, and health matters. The Foundation sees to best possible health, including "repairs" or treatment for issues possibly ignored or aggravated by being surrendered or lost.
We work carefully with seniors who wish to adopt to gain understanding and acceptance of the obligation of pet ownership. We seek the best matches for temperment, physical condition of both parties, and other factors. We transport the animals and spend the day of adoption with the new family.
And we follow up - forever - for the life of the dog, to be sure any concerns or problems are resolved.
