Volunteer Duties

Location: Houston Community College Northwest - Spring Branch Campus 1010 Sam Houston Parkway - Spring Branch Campus, Houston TX 77043

Volunteers will be assigned to various tasks including:

8:00 - 9:00 - Help Vendors with Resource Fair Set up. ~ Assist the vendors carry their materials to the Resource Fair area.

8:00 - 10:30 - Registration Table ~Assist with Registration - Participants, Vendors, Presenters, Making sure individuals sign in, Providing individuals with name tags, Giving them conference materials

Room and Hall Monitors ~

We welcome Volunteers to sign up for more than one of the individual Session shifts listed @ http://www.familytofamilynetwork.org/make-a-difference/volunteer

All Day Shift (9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.)

Morning Only Shift (9:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.)

Afternoon Only Shift (12:15 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.)

Description: Offer presenters (in your assigned rooms) water, and ask if they need anything; Water will be in the Hospitality area. When attendees begin arriving, station yourself in the hall to help them find their correct rooms. Have attendees sign in on the sign in sheet and give them a evaluation form and have them turn back to you before they leave. Return sign in sheets & evaluations to the Registration table. Each room will have different seating. If room is Full, post sign. Make sure that those that have Pre-registered (printed nametags) have a seat before those with handwritten nametags.

12:00 - 2:00 Clean Up/Assist Vendors Load Out ~ Help Vendors carry supplies to their cars, Assist with clean up in Eagle Room, Assist F2F with loading of cars, Ensure all 10 rooms used have cleaned up, lights off, computers shut down, doors locked.

12:30 PM - 2:00 PM CEU Certificates ~ Make sure Social Workers sign in, Collect attendance sheets & evaluations, verify hours earned, complete certificates for Social Work CEUs
