Seniors living in their own homes rely on family caregivers to sustain their quality of life. We are looking for compassionate and reliable volunteers to provide companionship to seniors while their caregivers are not at home.
Can you give 2-4 hours each month to a caregiver by spending time with their loved one so that they can enjoy a break? All you have to do is keep a senior company and give the caregiver peace of mind so they can take a little time for themselves. Very flexible hours available (morning or afternoons, Monday-Sunday).
If you are this special person, don't hesitate to be the gift that these caregivers are looking for. This opportunity does not require any hands-on care, only a friendly presence. This is a wonderful opportunity for students in medical fields to gain understanding of how many families in our country are caring for each other and the challenges and rewards that come with it.

Description
Our main goal is to keep our community seniors living in their homes. We organize and lead exercise programs, caregiver relief services, in-home nursing visits, volunteer drivers and friendly visitors are among the services we provide. We work in the Como Park and Falcon Heights community.
