For two hours, once or twice a month, trained volunteers are needed to unobtrusively observe and supervise a visit between one or more children with their noncustodial family members in a room in a daycare setting. Safety and enjoyment is the primary concern for our agency. We want our children to have a great time and feel loved and safe while spending these two hours on a Saturday morning with someone they miss.

Mission Statement
Getting Together Safely(GTS) provides a safe, neutral and friendly surrounding that encourages positive and comfortable interaction between non-custodial parents and children. The goal of GTS is to aid families in working together to provide a happy and hopeful environment for their children.
Description
WHAT: Getting Together Safely (GTS) is here to protect the best interests of children whose parents have a custody or visitation matter within the family courts. Sometimes, based on issues of protection, safety, or familiarity, a judge will decide that in order for a child to have contact with a parent, a neutral third person must be present during any visitation.
WHEN: Visitations are scheduled for two hours on two Saturdays each month during the hours of 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. & 11:15 a.m. - 1:15 p.m.
HOW: Fill out a simple application and a background check authorization. Once we get you verified you will be added to our volunteer email list, the Monday before each scheduled GTS weekend(which are set a year in advance) we send out an email seeing who is available. If you are available for one or both sessions you let us know. No commitment required, just volunteer as you are available.
