Imagine going through your day without being able to read standard print. Do you want to make a difference in people's lives without leaving your house?
Share your love of reading with children and adults who are visually impaired or print disabled by orally recording textbooks and other forms of printed materials using a computer (PC or MAC) according to Library of Congress guidelines.
Volunteers use their home computer and specialized software to make the recordings and must be adept with computer technology and have a good recording voice. Volunteer 8 to 10 hours a week any time of day without walking out of your house!
