Help guests enjoy their visit to historic Pittock Mansion during the busy Holiday season!
Holiday Hosts will be stationed around the festively-decorated house helping to direct visitors, answer questions, and operate the historic elevator.
We are looking for volunteers to help at the Mansion between November 21 to January 1 (except for Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day) between the hours of 11am - 4pm. We welcome returning volunteers and new volunteers that would like to sign up for more than one day. All new volunteers are required to attend a 2-hour training session and to pass a criminal background check with the City of Portland. The Volunteer Coordinator will contact interested parties with details on holiday training.
All floors of Pittock Mansion are elevator accessible to those able to transfer to a manual/push wheelchair. The 1913 elevator cannot accommodate powered chairs or scooters due to its size and weight limitations. The Gate Lodge is not handicap accessible.
