Compassionate Care Hospice Volunteers make all the difference in contributing to the quality of a patient's life. They are the heart of our Hospice Team!
Compassionate Care Hospice serves 13 counties in South East South Dakota and we are always in need of volunteers who are willing to make a difference in the life of our patients by visiting them in their homes, whether that be a nursing facility or their private home.
We are also looking for office volunteers, (help with filing, or be a patient pen-pal), beauticians (help make someone feel beautiful in betweeen their regular appointments) and those who love to do projects.

Mission Statement
Founded in 1993, Compassionate Care Hospice is a community based organization committed to providing the highest quality hospice care to patients, their families and close friends. We care for terminally ill patients in their homes, whether that be in an Assisted Living Facility, a Skilled Nursing Home, or in their own home. We go where the patient is. We provide that special care and services that help make these choices possible. Our volunteers make a difference as well. One visit a week makes a difference. Volunteers read to our patients, play cards with them, go to activities with them, or just sit bedside with them and their families. Be the one to Be the difference!
