JA's elementary school programs help K-5th grade students in Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson, Oconee and Pickens counties learn about the U.S. economic system. Concepts and skills taught at each grade level build on those taught in preceding grades. Each program is comprised of five 30-45 minute sessions, usually held once a week over 5 weeks. Volunteers can choose the program / grade level and school that they prefer. Director of Education and Volunteers Susan Spencer will train each volunteer and review the kit that contains all necessary materials. For more information, call 864-244-4017 or susan.spencer@ja.org
