Hospice Home

The Hinds Hospice Home provides 24-hour care in a home setting to manage pain and symptoms too medically complex for the patient's home caregivers.

We are seeking friendly folks to help create a welcoming environment for the family and friends visiting one of six hospice patients in the Home. Some of the duties include answering the door and phone, maintain refreshments, attending to needs of visitors, some light housekeeping, and more.

The Home is open seven days a week and there are three volunteer shifts each day, Mornings 8:30am-12:30pm, Afternoons 12:30pm-5:00pm, and Evenings 5:00pm - 9:00pm. You can volunteer for a regular schedule (usually once a week) or fill-in open shifts.

If you are interested in a Volunteer Application or have any questions please contact our Volunteer Services Team at 559-317-6016 or volunteer@hindshospice.org
