Mission Statement
Theatre Project -- through the presentation of a diverse array of original and experimental theatre, music, and dance -- connects the artists and audiences of Baltimore with a global community of performers. We seek to nurture those artists who are actively experimenting with new forms of expression and support both performers of international reputation and emerging local companies creating new work.
Description
Theatre Project is a small experimental theatre located in Baltimore's Mount Vernon Cultural Arts District. Since 1971, Theatre Project has been providing a unique cultural experience for the citizens of Baltimore and the surrounding areas by presenting new work in the visual and performing arts, by providing hospitality to artists who are actively experimenting with new forms of expression, and by offering opportunities for Baltimore audiences, including young people, to enjoy our brand of eclectic international performance.
