Volunteer would represent the agency at community display offsite. Child ID and fingerprinting as well as passing out safety materials. Volunteer would need to pick up materials, set up display at event, interact with the public at display, then pack up and return materials to agency.

Mission Statement
To help prevent child abduction and sexual exploitation; help find missing children; and assist victims of child abduction and sexual exploitation, their families, and the professionals who serve them.
Description
NCMEC/NY offers prevention education classes for parents, children, law enforcement and other professionals. Case assistance to law enforcement and families on missing children's cases. Poster distribution to targeted areas across the nation based upon investigative leads. NetSmartz Internet safety programs for grades K-12/parents and caretakers. Prevention Works programs for parents/caretakers at corporations, etc. Speaker's Bureau promotes education safety and awareness in the community with Child ID events and educational displays.
Programs supported through annual fundraisers: The Ride for Missing Children, Motorcycles for the Missing and the annual Dinner Auction.
