Proactive business and HR students needed to introduce effective and time saving office procedures for filing and communication logging.
Office intern would also assist in filing, answering phones, etc. Assists in preparing mailings. Prepare hospice education packets. Assists the Volunteer Coordinator with volunteer training sessions and other activities. Writes sympathy cards. Attends monthly meetings, hospice continuing education classes, support groups, and/or social functions as appropriate.
Available time volunteers are needed:
Monday-Friday, 9:00 A.M.-5:00 P.M.

Remita Health volunteers are specially-trained individuals with a heart for terminally-ill patients and their family members. These volunteers are an invaluable and essential part of the interdisciplinary team, and we are always looking for compassionate people to becoming volunteers!
Our program is broken down into several sub-programs to best meet the needs of the patients and families all over the San Fernando Valley, Santa Clarita Valley, San Gabriel Valley and Los Angeles areas. To volunteer with Remita Health, the most important thing our volunteers need to possess is a desire to help with care and compassion. Volunteers should be great listeners, have a strong comfort with death and the dying process, and able to document work clearly and concisely.
