RESPONSIBILITIES shall include, but not be limited to the following:

  • Execute social media strategy to enhance the SARDAA brand, reputation and build a loyal, active following on Twitter, Facebook and other social media properties.
  • Collaborate with internal team members to monitor key sites, online forums and review sites for SARDAA-related conversations and ensure that critical issues are addressed in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage SARDAA's Twitter and Facebook account daily, answering questions, promoting SARDAA, as well as sharing relevant news, features and other items of interest to promote engagement.
  • Recommend process improvements or reporting tools to adequately assess results of social media campaigns.
  • Recommend technological improvements to improve engagement and maintenance of SARDAA's presence across social sites.
  • Assist content creation and Founder's efforts, as needed.

Our Objectives: Promote hope and recovery for persons living with schizophrenia and related disorders. Eliminate the stigma and myths about schizophrenia Raise awareness so that early diagnosis and treatment increase the chance for recovery Ensure that consumer-driven and recovery-oriented services are fully accessible

Description

SARDAA administers: Schizophrenics Alliance (SA) and Families for Care (FFC) peer/self-help support groups; a national information and support line; provides up to date information via website, blog, newsletter, other social networking; promotes personal stories of recovery and hope; a speaker's bureau of people with expertise about living with the brain illness, family issues and support for care professionals. Our focus is on providing materials and information that will assist people in their own personal journey in living with the illness.

Schizophrenia and Related Disorders Alliance of America (SARDAA), has been designated a non-profit 501(c)3 organization and is working to help this underserved population and their families.
