The International Institute of the Bay Area is a nonprofit organization serving the immigrant community since 1918. Our Redwood City Office serves over 4,000 people per year with legal immigration and citizenship services, promotion of civic participation, and education about the rights of immigrants. We are seeking volunteers to assist in with our citizenship workshops.
IIBA offers monthly citizenship application workshops, to inform the community regarding the naturalization process, and assist eligible clients to apply for US Citizenship. Workshops are generally held monthly on Tuesday mornings in Redwood City. Volunteers will interpret for Spanish-speaking clients and pro bono attorneys who help them to complete the 20-page citizenship application form.
