ORGANIZATION: Dress For Success of Greater Orlando

  • 15 people are interested

Dress for Success is an international non-profit organization that helps disadvantaged women go from suits to self-sufficiency. The Successful Women's Group is a networking and support group that meets once a month to teach career development and workplace survival strategies for our clients.

We are looking for people interested in assisting our Successful Women's Group for approximately 5-10 hours per month in the following roles:

*Assisting with calls to new and existing members regarding the meetings

*Follow-Up Programming (confirming speakers, sending thank-yous to speakers, creating agenda from templates)

*Meeting Coordination (confirming location, greeting members and guests, distributing and collecting member surveys, inputing data from member surveys for future use, setting up the room and assisting in clean up, etc.)

*Incentives (securing goodies for raffle prizes, soliciting donations of food and beverage, etc.)

We're looking for people who want to attend PWG meetings, as well as those interested in volunteering primarily from home (calls can easily be made from home). We need volunteers who are outgoing and confident, with a strong sense of follow-up.

We are looking for individuals who are interested in building this program to make it a strong resource for economically disadvantaged women entering the workforce.
