SCORE is a nationwide non-profit association that provides free and confidential counseling to people who want to start a business and to people who are running a small business. Counselors are non-paid volunteers who have experience in business and who want to help others become successful. Counseling is performed face to face, by telephone, by email and/or by using the SCORE On Line Counseling System. Counselors chose the days and amount of time they want to volunteer. New Counselors receive training before starting to provide counseling assistance.
