Adopt-A-Day At EL ARCA.
Do you have a weekday off and would like to bring joy and companionship to a developmentally disabled adult? Then, EL ARCA is the place for you. We provide Day Services to wonderful individuals with disabilities at our Lincoln Heigths location (90031).
You can volunteer the whole day (8:30am--3:00pm) or any amount of hours during that time frame.
You'll be stationed in one of our classrooms (such as computer technology, arts/crafts, basic language skills, daily living skills) and will guide, encourage and assist our consumers with the tasks at hand.
Perfect opportunity for volunteers that can dedicate the same day of the week to enrich the life of developmentally disabled individuals.

EL ARCA'S Adult Development Center (ADC) is designed for the development of and maintenance of functional, cognitive and behavioral skills required for successful integration into the community.

EL ARCA'S Adult Day Support Center (ADSC) is designed to teach skills that will actively promote the developmental processes necessary optimum independence, maintenance of functional, cognitive and behavioral skills required for successful integration into the community.
ADSC Services are:

- Motor Skills Therapy
- Activities of Daily Living
- Social and Recreational Skills
