The Community Assistance Program is accepting applications from community members and Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) who are interested in assisting individuals and/or groups who have experienced a crisis.
Volunteers work on a Crisis Response (CR)Van with one partner. Crews sign up for 12 or 24 hour shifts. CR crews reside in fire stations during the hours of service. CR units are dispatched to crisis calls through the Phoenix Fire Department alarm room. Once on scene, crews contact the on-scene command and perform the duties requested.
