The Public Interest Law Center of Philadelphia is looking for an energetic volunteer for our front desk! Volunteers will be in charge of receptionist duties including answering phones, writing messages and visitor check in.
Our clients are people with disabilities, racial and ethnic minorities, low-income individuals and communities, formerly incarcerated people , and the advocacy organizations that represent them. Living with discrimination and poverty, they are denied access to vital resources that every person needs in order to enjoy even the rudiments of equal citizenship - an education, health care, a home, a healthy environment, a job, and the unencumbered right to vote.
The Law Center uses high-impact legal strategies to improve the well-being and life prospects of the Philadelphia region’s most vulnerable populations by assuring that they have access to the resources and services that all of us need to lead our lives.
