Tax Preparation An opportunity to help the community by preparing tax returns for Brevard County low to mid-income citizens and senior citizens, saving them the preparation fees as well as avoiding the high fees associated with some predatory lenders. Tax sites located from Rockledge to Palm Bay, during tax season. - No finance background required - Able to work with diverse populations - Detail Oriented; Computer literate - Dependable - Bilingual, a plus - Extensive training provided to obtain IRS certification. Positions available for Greeters without IRS certification. - Able to volunteer at least 4 hours per week during tax season; daytime, evening, Saturdays available. Brevard County's United Way has been in operation since 1957. For 50 years we have supported our member agencies and promoted the coordination and management of volunteers. We are very involved in disaster preparation and response, financial education, support for our 2-1-1 and helping to develop future leaders.
