ORGANIZATION: Big Brothers Big Sisters Lincoln

Volunteer Big Brothers and Big Sisters and the children we serve meet at the Little Brother's or Little Sister's school for one hour each week throughout the school year and eat lunch, read together, play board games, do crafts or just spend time talking. One hour each week reading together, has a positive impact on the child's attitude about school and academic achievement, while putting a little fun and extra meaning into the volunteer's day and week. All meetings take place during the school day or during after school programs at a time convenient for both the volunteer and youth.
