Volunteers help keep ReStore clean and organized. There's always lots of cleaning to be done, of the store and of the donated inventory. Volunteers sometimes help make signs, organize merchandise, help donors lift and move items. We also need help at the Columbia County Habitat build sites.

Mission Statement
Columbia County Habitat for Humanity is a locally run affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing organization. Habitat for Humanity International seeks to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the world, and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action.
Habitat for Humanity builds and renovates houses in partnership with volunteers and families in need, regardless of their ethnic or religious background. The houses then are sold to those in need at no profit and with no interest charged.
ReStore is a program of Habitat for Humanity which provides another means of raising money to build affordable housing in Columbia County, NY.
Description
ReStore sells donated building materials, large appliances and residential furniture at a fraction of retail cost. Proceeds fund the building of affordable Habitat for Humanity homes in our community. The store is open Fridays 9-5, and Saturdays 9-4.
