The National Kidney Foundation, Inc offers free health screening programs for individuals at increased risk of developing kidney disease. Join others to administer screening tests, review results and answer questions.

The screening is open to anyone at risk for kidney disease. It takes approximately 15 minutes for a participant to complete the entire screening process. Participants will receive blood pressure and BMI measurements; urine dipstick test. No medical background is necessary to volunteer.

The National Kidney Foundation is looking for individuals to help at our Duluth, Minnesota Screen in the following areas:

  • Register participants for the screening
  • Help participants complete medical history questionnaires
  • Take BMI measurements and blood pressures
  • Complete urine testing
  • MD's, DO's, NP's, and PA's needed to review results on site
  • Review paperwork

The National Kidney Foundation Serving the Dakotas and Minnesota is committed to taking kidney and urinary diseases from treatment to cure and increasing awareness about organ and tissue donation by:

  • Supporting research and research training
  • Providing ongoing education to health care professionals
  • Expanding patient services and community resources
  • Educating the public about kidney disease and the importance of early intervention
  • Promoting organ and tissue donation
  • Shaping health policy
  • Raising vital funds to support programs and services
