Support our members' academic success, and work with them in completing their homework and/or distance learning assignments. Become a Homework Hero!

Note: All volunteers need to follow BGCAZ & CDC COVID-19 safety measures while in a BGCAZ location. This includes: Mask-wearing upon arrival and during time with members and staff, contactless temperature check upon arrival, social distancing, frequent hand washing. Volunteers who do not feel well need may not volunteer.

Work with younger members (grades K - 3rd) individually and in small groups, and help them get their homework done.

Description

The Boys and Girls Clubs of the Valley (BGCAZ) provides premier out-of-school-time programs for youth to develop their skills and resilience to successfully navigate childhood, and prepare for adulthood. We offer affordable after-school and summer programs for 16,000 young people in grades K-12. At 26 clubs across Maricopa County and into Pinal County, BGCAZ provides award-winning programs designed to change the lives of young people in four key areas: Academic Success, Be Great, Do Good, Healthy Choice, and workforce development - AZ YouthForce.
